the runaround.

Start with the quick checks below. If something still feels off, email us and the app can help include the technical details we need—never your password or verification code.

Try these checks first

  1. Confirm the correct account is connected.

Open the account card in Repost Cleaner and make sure the displayed TikTok account is the one you intend to clean.

  2. Complete any TikTok verification.

If TikTok asks you to verify activity, finish that step in the web view and then return to the app.

  3. Scan again.

A scan can be empty because the account has no available Reposts, TikTok returned an incomplete response, or a verification step is pending.

  4. Keep the app active.

Use a stable network and keep Repost Cleaner in the foreground while a scan or cleanup is running.

  5. Send useful context.

Include the app version, iOS version, device model, and exact error text. The in-app Feedback option can prefill these details.

Frequently asked questions

How does Repost Cleaner work?

You connect your own TikTok account through TikTok's embedded website. Repost Cleaner scans the Reposts available to that signed-in account, lets you choose items, and processes confirmed removals one at a time.

Does Repost Cleaner receive my TikTok password?

No. Repost Cleaner does not operate its own TikTok password form. Credentials are entered on TikTok's website inside the app's browser. Avoid sending passwords, session cookies, or verification codes to support.

Why is TikTok asking me to verify?

TikTok may present a challenge when it needs to confirm browser activity. Repost Cleaner cannot bypass that check. Complete it in the displayed TikTok page, then scan again.

Why did a scan return no Reposts?

The account may genuinely have no available Reposts. An empty result can also happen when TikTok changes its website, delays a response, or requires verification. Confirm the account, complete any challenge, and retry before assuming data was removed.

Why can cleanup take time?

Each selected video is processed and checked individually. This is intentionally more deliberate than sending a burst of actions. Network conditions and TikTok response times also affect progress.

Can I stop an active cleanup?

Yes. Tap Stop and Repost Cleaner will stop after the current item finishes. Items already removed cannot be automatically restored by the app.

Where is cleanup history stored?

History is stored inside the app's sandbox on your device and separated by TikTok account. Signing out clears the TikTok website session and cached identity, but account-specific cleanup history remains locally so it can reappear when the same account reconnects. Deleting the app removes its sandbox data.

What is the free daily limit?

Free users can complete up to 100 successful removals per device, per local day. Pro does not enforce a daily cleanup limit. The 500-per-day message shown for Pro is a safety recommendation, not a hard limit. Demo Mode does not consume the allowance.

How do I manage or cancel Weekly?

Weekly is an auto-renewing subscription managed by Apple. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. See Apple's subscription guide for current steps.

How do I restore Pro?

Open Repost Cleaner Settings and choose Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple Account that made the Weekly or Lifetime purchase. Apple—not Repost Cleaner—processes payment and entitlement records.

How can I remove local app data?

Signing out clears the TikTok session and cached connected-account identity. Deleting Repost Cleaner from the device removes its account-scoped history, settings, and other sandbox data. We cannot remotely delete information that exists only on your device. You may email us about feedback messages you previously sent.

Is Repost Cleaner affiliated with TikTok?

No. Repost Cleaner is an independent utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance.
